PwC in Iraq is an integral part of PwC’s growing network in the Middle East region. The firm combines in-depth knowledge of the Iraqi PwC economy, regulations, local business standards and customs with extensive coverage, breadth of resources, and quality assurance. PwC has been operating in Iraq since 2006 through our fully fledged PwC offices in Baghdad and Erbil. PwC Iraq is led by country senior partner Ismail Maraqa who has been working there for over thirteen years leading major government transformation projects and assisting international corporations set up operations in Iraq. The main activities of PwC Iraq includes providing advisory, tax, and audit services for key government entities, the UN, financial institutions, oil and gas companies, industrial, agricultural, and trading shareholding and limited companies within the Iraqi private sector.
