He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, a Diploma in Public Policy and Leadership from the American University of Sharjah, and is in his final year of a Law degree at the Iraqi University. He is also a certified international commercial arbitrator and has obtained several mini-master certifications in negotiation and crisis management.
For over a decade, Maytham served as a Board Member of the Baghdad Chamber of Commerce, in addition to being an active member of the Iraqi Businessmen Union and several joint business councils. He has successfully organized numerous trade exhibitions and workshops between Iraq, the UK, and Greece, strengthening economic and commercial ties.
Alongside his institutional roles, Maytham also manages his own businesses in automotive spare parts, children’s products, and tourism services, giving him a strong entrepreneurial perspective. His diverse academic background, combined with his leadership roles and hands-on experience, highlights him as a key figure in advancing Iraq’s private sector and fostering international partnerships.
