We are delighted to announce that Sadar Trading Agencies has become the latest organisation to joing the Iraq Britain Business Council (IBBC).

Since 2010 Sardar Trading Agencies (STA) is the exclusive importer for Land Rover in Iraq, and for Jaguar since 2011. Sardar Trading Agencies (STA) is one of the core companies of “Sardar Group” with more than 50 years of experience in the Iraqi private business field, mainly in the automotive segment.

STA’s aim is to help to rebuild Iraq bringing a better future and new values to the country, in particular to its younger generations, whilst continuing the success story of its manufacturer.

Faithful to its core mission, STA has committed to invest near US$20 million to build 2 new green field facilities in Baghdad and Erbil respectively and it has developed a robust network of retailers during the past decade – comprising state of the art facilities in Baghdad, Erbil, Sulemania and Duhok – with support from the Iraqi Government and Jaguar Land Rover Ltd.

Since it began its operations STA has supplied over 2000 vehicles to the citizens of Iraq, it has achieved gross turnovers of over $300 million and it is currently in discussions with the Ministry of Interior in Baghdad to contribute to the Government’s infrastructure plans.
