Christine van den Toorn, Director of the Institute of Regional and International Studies at the American University Iraq Sulaimani (AUIS), talks about the importance of higher education to the private sector in Iraq and how other institutions can learn from the model of AUIS, of which 70% of students join the private sector.
Christine also discusses how best to replicate AUIS programmes countrywide, through partnerships and dialogue with private sector firms.
