SSH CEO Bob Hope wins the Middle East Construction CEO of the Year Award 2014

BBob's CEO picob Hope, Chief Executive Officer of SSH, was awarded the 2014 Construction CEO of the Year at the Middle East CEO Awards, held at the Jumeirah Emirates Towers in Dubai on 10th September, 2014. Bob was in good company as a jury of 12 prominent executives also voted for 14 other CEO’s including Colm McLoughlin from Dubai Duty Free for Retail, Pepsico CEO Omar Farid for Consumer, and H.E. Hesham Abdullah Al Qassim from Al Wasl for Real Estate.

Bob said, ‘I am receiving this award on behalf of our 800 people who are responsible for SSH’s continued success’. This award is in appreciation of Bob’s efforts in the last 2 years in spearheading the company’s expansion in the MENA region while retaining profitability and delivering landmark projects including the Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre, Abu Dhabi’s Presidential Palace and Sabah Al Salem New Campus in Kuwait University.

SSH has continued to grow its presence in the MENA region grew from 300 to 800 members of staff in the last 2 years by attracting talent and expertise from blue-chip international companies, as well as from regional and local organisations. SSH continues to build on its MENA presence by adding to its existing offices in Kuwait, Oman, Abu Dhabi and Algeria, with new offices in South Africa, Qatar, Bahrain and Iraq.
