Siemens and GE Vernova showcase advanced technologies at Iraq Energy Expo 2026
The Iraq Britain Business Council (IBBC)members and Baghdad team attended the high profile Iraq Energy Expo 2026, a key platform for dialogue and collaboration within Iraq’s energy sector. The Expo opened with high-level conference speeches delivered by the Iraqi Prime Minister, the Minister of Oil, and the Minister of Electricity, underscoring the Government of Iraq’s commitment to advancing the country’s energy infrastructure and sustainability goals.

Siemens Energy and GE Vernova, both exhibited at the Expo and participated in the conference sessions. During their presentations, they highlighted the tangible progress achieved in recent years to increase Iraq’s power grid capacity and improve overall efficiency, and showcased the advanced technologies currently being deployed across Iraq, demonstrating how innovation and international partnership are contributing to a more resilient, reliable, and efficient national power system.
