Christophe Michels and Professor Mohammed Al Uzri hosted an excellent dinner for Members located in Baghdad on Wednesday evening. Arranged as an opportunity for the leadership of members to come together in informal surroundings to meet and discuss the main topics of the day, this event was also an opportunity for IBBC to thank all of its members in Baghdad for their continued support throughout 2023.

As an informal event, there were no formal speeches, however it was a pleasure to welcome Dr Laith Al Shaher, who was recently appointed to the IBBC Advisor Board to the table.  Also in attendance was Dr Fareed Yaseen, the Government of Iraq’s climate envoy, who is providing the Key Note Speech to our Autumn Conference.
