Lord Robertson’s lecture on behalf of the Army Benevolent Fund ‘Current security and defence challenges’

Lord Robertson, IBBC’s vice president, is delivering a lecture for the Army Benevolent Fund, at Wellington Barracks, London, on 13th October 18.30.

Lord Robertson has been a long-standing supporter of IBBC and serves as one of our Vice Presidents. He previously held the posts of UK Defence Secretary under New Labour and Secretary General of NATO, and more recently led the UK Defence Review. Many of you will already know him as a compelling and authoritative speaker, both in the media, in Parliament and at IBBC events, and his lecture will be highly relevant to the unsettled times we face today.

The lecture will be chaired by IBBC Founder Member Brigadier James Ellery and will be preceded by a drink’s reception.

Tickets can be purchased here: Army Benevolent Fund – Autumn Lecture 2025.

All proceeds will support the Army Benevolent Fund, which provides vital assistance to soldiers, veterans, and their families. As IBBC, we are honoured to once again support this outstanding charity. Please feel free to share this invitation with friends and colleagues, and when purchasing your ticket, do consider adding an additional donation to the Fund.
