Baroness Nicholson of Winterbourne, IBBC Executive Chairman and UK Trade Envoy for Iraq, the Executive Committee and Council Members, will welcome distinguished speakers such as H.E Dr Rowsch Shaways, Iraq Deputy Prime Minister, H.E. Mr Tariq Al-Khikani, Iraq Minister of Housing and Construction, Christos Papadopoulous, Standard Chartered CEO for Middle East,  and Lord Howell of Guilford, amongst others. H.E Mr Baker Al Zubeidi, Iraq’s Minister of Transport, has also confirmed his attendance.

The Iraq Britain Business Council (IBBC) Spring Conference 2015 will be held at the Mansion House on the 1st June and the Royal Overseas League on the 2nd June.

The event’s first day at Mansion House will include sessions on the present situation in Iraq, Oil and Gas, and the Built Environment. IBBC member Shell will be the principal sponsor. Members GardaWorld and G4S will also be supporting the event.

The Spring Conference dinner will be held at the Simpson’s in the Strand by the Savoy Hotel.

The second day of the event at the Royal Over-Seas League will focus on Small and Medium Businesses in Iraq and will count with the participation of business representatives coming from all Governorates of Iraq.Wolverhampton University will be the sponsors of the day.
