ALFAJER Group is proud to have participated in the Iraq Petroleum Industry Workshop (IPIW 2025), held on 27–28 October 2025 at the Babylon Rotana Hotel in Baghdad, under the patronage of H.E. the Prime Minister of Iraq and with the attendance of H.E. the Deputy Prime Minister for Energy Affairs – Minister of Oil.

This prestigious event gathered leading international and national oil and gas companies — including BP, TotalEnergies, ENI, Petronas, Dragon Oil, and many others — under the theme:

“Today’s Innovations for Tomorrow’s Challenges.”

ALFAJER are honored to announce that the Group’s technical abstract titled “Applications of Artificial Intelligence–Powered Condition Monitoring Systems for the Oil and Gas Industry Based on Samotics Technology,”  was selected for Oral Presentation after a highly competitive evaluation process, among over 162 submissions representing 52 companies and institutions from 15 countries.

During the workshop, ALFAJER Group showcased its AI-powered predictive maintenance solution, developed in collaboration with Samotics, designed to monitor and predict failures in rotating equipment, including assets in submerged, ATEX, and other hazardous areas.

This cutting-edge technology supports energy efficiency, reduced CO₂ emissions, and operational reliability across multiple applications such as water treatment plants, sewage stations, Oil & Gas wellheads, and ESP systems.

This recognition highlights ALFAJER Group’s ongoing commitment to bringing innovative, data-driven, and sustainable technologies to Iraq’s energy and industrial sectors.ALFAJER are set to join the Innovation panel at IBBC’s Basrah Conference on December 4^th where AI will be a significant topic.
