IBBC Chairman, Baroness Nicholson, and members of the Council welcomed Mr Nickolay Mladenov, Special Representative of the UN Secretary-General for Iraq and Head of United Nations Assistance Mission for Iraq (UNAMI), to London in a meeting held at IBBC’s offices in Westminster on Wednesday.

Mr Mladenov discussed different aspects of the current situation in Iraq and exchanged views with Baroness Nicholson and a number of IBBC members. The UN Special Representative is in the middle of a short visit to London in which he will be taking part in highest level Government meetings and participating in a number of activities to talk about ‘The Islamic State, Sectarianism and the Struggle for Iraq’.
