New member Marubeni-Itochu Steel is warmly welcomed to the Iraq Britain Business Council, whose members look forward to working with the powerful company.

As it is already well known, Marubeni-Itochu Steel is a joint venture between Marubeni Corporation and Itochu Corporation, two major general trading companies. It was established in October 2010 after the two companies merged their respective steel divisions. Since it was launched, the company has built a reputation as one of the world’s leading importers, exporters, processors and suppliers of steel products.

Its Tubular Products Division, which operates under the name Marubeni-Itochu Tubulars, supplies tubular products for the energy sector. Its products include OCTGs, line pipe, clad steel pipe, structural pipe and ductile iron pipe.
