The IBBC tech forum held an online panel discussion on the topic of ‘How  E Government can benefit Iraq?’

The panellists included Alex Segrove, international lead from UK Cabinet office , Government Digital Service, Amar Shubar partner of Management Partners and Ismail Maraqa chair of the MENA region board, PWC.

In a well- attended and wide ranging conversation the topic included the benefits and opportunities that E government brings, the way in which the UK Government introduced Digital by default and its readiness for COVID, and how Iraq can implement digital governments, the requirement of political will and the creation of a steering team to implement changes across the ministries.
