IBBC Signs Memorandum of Cooperation with Iraq Energy Academy.

Executive Chairman Baroness Nicholson and the IENA’s chairman, Dr Ibrahim Bahr Alolom, signed a Memorandum of Cooperation during IBBC’s Baghdad conference on 18 November 2013, a move witnessed by Dr Sami Al-Araji, Chairman of Iraq’s National Investment Commission.

The deal will benefit both the IBBC and its members.

Highlights include:

The two sides have agreed to promote and develop human resources in Iraq for the present and future needs of the energy sector.

Conferences and meetings will be held on a regular basis for both Iraqi and British companies.

The IBBC has agreed to support and help promote the Iraq Energy Academy in the worldwide business community and with its member firms. We will also provide information and coordination with universities and other educational bodies around the world.
