IBBC rounds off the summer with management review and summer party

IBBC held its biannual Council Meeting chaired by Mrs Hadeel Hassan of HHP Law to outline its plans for the year and to announce a review of operations and purpose following research by Colin Finlay, strategic consultant to IBBC and previously MD of Severn Glocon. Mr Finlay outlined the findings of his research among members and IBBC stakeholders and identified areas for future development and managerial changes that will enable IBBC to adapt to the future and reflect market changes in Iraq and among the international community. Members then retired to the Royal Overseas league garden to host a well-attended IBBC Summer party. Guests included members of the Iraqi Embassy, Mr John Wilkes, UK Ambassador to Qatar and the Saudi Arabian Ambassador HRH Prince Khaled Bin Bandar Bin Sultan, Mr Stephen Hickey, former Ambassador to Iraq, now director of FCDO Middle East, and former ministers in Iraq including Mr Dara Rasheed, and Bishop Alastair Redfern. Both the Council Meeting and Party were attended by IBBC President Baroness Nicholson.
