IBBC President and Managing Director Attend Conservative Party Conference in Birmingham

Having recently rejoined the Conservative Party after 21 years, the Iraq Britain Business Council’s President Baroness Nicholson of Winterbourne attended the annual Conservative Party Conference in Birmingham from Sunday 2 October to Tuesday 4 October 2016. She was joined by Christophe Michels, IBBC’s Managing Director.

At the conference Baroness Nicholson met Prime Minister Theresa May, Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson, Secretary of State for International Trade Dr Liam Fox, and Minister of State of the Department for International Development Rory Stuart. She also participated in various panel discussions, including one that explored the possible consequences of Brexit for the financial service sector. Among those who joined Baroness Nicholson on the panel were the chief executives of the London Stock Exchange and TheCityUK.
