Today IBBC held an off the record video call with representatives from the World Bank and the International Finance Corporation (IFC) as a part of its ongoing webinar series. The call was attended by more than 50 IBBC members.

 

Panellists included Mr Timothy Donald Fisher, Global CEO, Stirling Education; Mr Aows Abdallah, Regional Director EMEA, Unihouse Global/Protechnique and Mr Hany Mohsen Salama, CFO of Basra Gateway Terminal.

 

The Representatives from the World Bank and IFC were Mr Saroj Jah, World Bank Director for the Mashreq Countries, Mr Ramzi Neman, Head of the World Bank Office in Baghdad, Mr Bilal Al Sugheyer, Head of the IFC Office in Baghdad and Mr Wael Mansour, the World Bank Senior Economist for Iraq.

 

Professor Frank Gunter, an Economist specialised on the political economy of Iraq from Lehigh University and a member of the IBBC Advisory Council was moderating the discussion and Q and A.
