IBBC capped a successful year off with a lively reception at Pall Mall’s Reform club. Baroness Nicholson welcomed the guests and paid homage to Christophe Michels for managing a most successful year.

Guests included senior management, Lord Green IBBC’s Vice president, members of the House of Lords, and leaders from both IBBC’s membership, and speakers and academics, including EBDR, Embassy of Republic of Iraq, British Chambers of commerce, Corderoy, Control Risks, Al Majal, Defaf Al Khaleej, Essura, Mott Macdonald, FCDO and DBT, Hogan Lovells, Hydo C, KRG High representative, ZHA, ULl, Cambridge University, Harvard, and Unihouse, Arab Bankers and the COE.

Christophe Michels IBBC MD said’ IBBC had had its most successful year ever, with the Basrah conference attended by the Iraqi PM and Oil minister, a growing membership and confidence in Iraqi private sector developments. We look forward to 2026 with further conferences across Iraq in Baghdad, Basrah and Erbil.
