Al-Burhan Centre, part of the Al-Burhan Group was delighted to host a dinner for the ‘IBBC mission to Baghdad’ conference in Iraq on 30th October 2017. The event was well attended by almost forty conference participants who could informally share their feedback in regard of the meetings and discussions which took place over the preceding days.

The dinner was hosted by Mr Imad Burhan, Al-Burhan Group Managing Director who presented an exquisitely engraved agate gemstone and Al-Burhan family heirloom as a gift to Baroness Nicholson. Mr Burhan expressed his gratitude to the Baroness for her efforts to rebuild, facilitate and develop business and trade investments in Iraq.

The IBBC conference which was organised under the patronage of Baroness Nicholson gave a possibility for international companies and public sector bodies to have a joint platform to identify their common interests and to create a powerful network for them to cooperate and to develop Iraq together. Al-Burhan Centre located in Baghdad International Airport area offers a pleasant outdoor area for the attendees to enjoy while listening to live piano played by renowned Iraqi pianist. Our guests enjoyed both Western and Middle Eastern cuisine prepared by Al-Burhan’s chiefs. Baroness Nicholson of Winterbourne gave a very positive speech on the progress Iraq has made in becoming a stable country. Please watch the video attached to hear her speech.
