On the 24^th of May, the IBBC Baghdad Office team, along with several IBBC members, including Standard Chartered, Sardar, Sabis, and OilServe‘s Sara Akbar and Mr Mohammed Al Saadi of Hammurabi law and IBBC Member Representative in Iraq, attended the University President’s Reception and the Inaugural Commencement Ceremony of the American University of Iraq – Baghdad (AUIB), celebrating the Class of 2025!

It was a special occasion for the graduates, their families, and the AUIB community, marking an important milestone in the university’s journey and in Iraq’s growing higher education landscape.

As a strong advocate for education and long-term development, IBBC is proud to support AUIB and its mission to empower young Iraqis with world-class education.

Professor Mohammed Al Uzri, IBBCs Education lead says ‘ The presence of IBBC and its members at the event reflects our  focus on the importance of skills and training that contribute to Iraq’s educational development and help equip young people with the skills for a brighter future.’
