Cumberland Lodge event to address Trade, Finance and Governance in Iraq with leading Government, Business and Think Tank experts. 7-9 July 2017

The Iraq Britain Business Council will meet for its eagerly awaited annual summer retreat at Cumberland Lodge, Windsor Great Park, between 7th and 9th July this year. Cumberland Lodge is a unique royal think tank that encourages discussion on issues of national and international significance with the aim of stimulating constructive dialogue, shared ideas and insightful learning.

This is a one off annual opportunity to get to know other business colleagues in a relaxed and stimulating environment, away from daily pressures, and to explore ideas and challenges in open forum.

Members will not just have the opportunity to think afresh, but also network with their peers in an enjoyable shared weekend experience.

This year the programme includes sessions on the present situation in Iraq, Governance in Iraq/Iraq after ISIS, a new External Trade Strategy for the UK, Finance and IBBC events ahead. There is also a Council Meeting on Saturday 8 July and an Oil and Gas and an Education, Training and Heritage Sector Table meeting on Friday 7 July.

The Lodge, built in 1650, is a historic and listed venue, which is under the patronage of Her Majesty The Queen, who takes a great personal interest in its affairs and wellbeing.
