Crescent Petroleum joins the Iraq Britain Business Council
We are delighted to announce that Crescent Petroleum has become the latest member of the Iraq Britain Business Council (IBBC).
Crescent Petroleum is one of the largest private upstream oil and gas company in the Middle East, with nearly 50 years of experience as an international operator in countries ranging from Egypt to the United Arab Emirates and Iraq.
Headquartered in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates, Crescent Petroleum has international offices in the United Kingdom and Iraq.
Crescent Petroleum is the only foreign oil and gas company to maintain a continuous presence in Iraq for three decades. Along with its four partners in the Pearl Petroleum consortium, it is the largest private oil and gas investor in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq. In 2018, Crescent Petroleum won three exploration blocks in the fifth bidding round in Iraq: Khashim Ahmer-Injana and Gilabat-Qumar in the Diyala Governorate and Khidhr Al Mai on the border to Kuwait.
