Baroness Nicholson hosts Afternoon Tea for High Level KRG Delegation, 14 June 2010
On Monday 14 June, the KRG Prime Minister, Dr Barham Salih, and his cabinet were the guests of Baroness Nicholson at an Afternoon Tea.
The Prime Minister speaking before the Kurdistan Region Trade & Investment Conference in London reflected on the story of change that Iraq and the KRG had now become. The Prime Minister described the KRG as the “anchor and catalyst for Iraq” that would lead Iraq’s investment efforts and would act as a bridge for all the countries in the region. For the UK Government, Geoffrey Clifton-Brown MP, congratulated Baroness Nicholson for spearheading the UK’s relations with Iraq through the IBBC (Iraq Britain Business Council) and her other initiatives and looked forward with.
