KCA DEUTAG, the international drilling contractor, has been awarded a Queen’s Award for Enterprise in the International Trade category. This is the second time that KCA DEUTAG – through its parent company Abbot Group – has won this prestigious award which is valid for five years.

The award has been approved based upon the Company’s significant international growth over the past six years. International business now makes up 90% of KCA DEUTAG’s overall turnover. This is also reflected in the diversity and geographic spread of personnel, with almost 90% working outwith the UK.
