A meeting of IBBC’s Financial & Professional Services Sector Table (FPST) took place on Monday 8 February at the Athenaeum Club in London.

Topics on the agenda included an update on the financial sector in Iraq, which was given by Philippe Dauba-Pantanacce of Standard Chartered; an update on the professional services sector, delivered by FPST Chairman Alistair Kett; and an overview of the current situation in Iraq by Dame Glynne Evans of Restrata. IBBC’s Richard Cotton also delivered an update on UKTI and the British Chambers of Commerce, as well as the London Business Forum held in January.

IBBC member companies PwC, G4S, Restrata, GardaWorld, SKA International Group and Standard Chartered were represented at the meeting.

The next FPST meeting is scheduled for Monday 9 May.
