Iraq is in the middle of confrontations in the Middle East, with room to choose its responses in its own interest. How Iraq’s foreign policy is used to defend and promote Iraq’s interests, including in its relations with its neighbours, and world powers both West and East is an issue at the front of Iraqi minds and Iraq’s friends.

Regional conflict and the new equilibrium?

As well as for global energy and financial markets. What will a new regional equilibrium look like and how can it be reinforced? Business is affected by escalating conflict but can also be a force for rebuilding stability and trust in Iraq and the region. How can increased geopolitical risk be managed to allow this to happen?
