IBBC convened an important initiative in Basrah bringing together business, academia and education partners to develop links between the sectors and in particular developing skills and industry among all parties.

The session was facilitated by Professor Mohammed Al Uzri, who leads lBBC Education initiatives and key attendees included: Dr Saad Shaheen, President of Basrah University, Dr Durgham Alajwady, Deputy Governor of Basrah, Mr Bashar Kassab Hasan of Basra Gas company, and IBBC members including Stirling Education, Etihad Law, Hydro-C and Al Bustan.

The session provided a road map for the bigger session on Basrah and Education during IBBC’s 3-day conference from November 9 – 11 featuring both Education days, and a special focus Basrah day, in addition to the main conference day.
