Richard Cotton and Mohanad Al Khattab, with IBBC member Brigadier James Ellery of Turnkey visited the Basra region from Saturday 14 to Friday 20 August and despite temperatures over 40 degrees, much ground was covered with visits to Khor Zubair, Umm Qasr and the Southern oilfields, as well as Basra city.

There were many useful and important meetings and much updating on business conditions but the highlights were a meeting with the Basra Governor Asaad  al Edani, a meeting with the Basra Chamber of Commerce and a lunch hosted by Al Majal Business Park, Burjessia for 40 IBBC members and friends.

IBBC  members seem to have weathered the Covid pandemic and are looking forward to improving trading and business conditions.
