Education, Training & Heritage Sector Table meeting, 19th January 2021
The Iraq Britain Business Council held an Education, Training & Heritage Sector Table meeting via Zoom on Tuesday 19th January 2021.
The Education, Training & Heritage Sector Table Meeting was chaired by Professor Mohammed Al-Uzri, IBBC’s Honorary Health and Higher Education Adviser. It was attended by Dr Mohammed Hamza, Cultural Counsellor at the Iraqi Embassy to the UK and Mr Jim Buttery, Director of the British Council in Iraq and a number of IBBC Members including representatives of IBBC Members Basra Gateway Terminal, Bell Finance LLC, BP, CISQ – Cambridge International School – Queen Anne, GardaWorld, HHP Law, Kufan Group, Management Partners, Bath Spa University, Najaf Chambers of Commerce, Oilserv Kuwait, Unhouse Global, Stirling Education and the University of Northampton.
The meeting discussed many initiatives, supported by IBBC, aimed at strengthening academic links between Iraq and UK as well as links of academia and the business world in Iraq.
