On 21 and 22 October the Iraqi Prime Minister, Mr Mustafa Al Kadhimi, officially visited the United Kingdom bringing with him a delegation of Ministers and senior officials.

 

Working closely with the Iraqi Embassy in London (IBBC wishes to thank HE the Ambassador and his staff for their most efficient assistance in arranging the meetings and looking after IBBC members on the day) IBBC arranged for many of its members to meet with the Iraqi delegation. Meetings were set up with the Prime Minister, Minister of Finance, Minister of Oil, Minister of Transport, the Secretary General of the Council of Ministers, the Chair of the National Investment Commission, and with the Chairman of the Trade Bank of Iraq.

 

Baroness Nicholson, President of IBBC, attended a number of these meetings, including one with the Prime Minister.
