On 18 June IBBC held a meeting of its Energy Sector Table (formerly Oil and Gas Sector Table). Chaired by Vikas Handa, CEO of Gulftek Arabia and IBBC’s GCC Representative, the meeting was attended by 20 plus Members including representatives of international oil companies, international electricity companies and many of their subcontractors. Following a briefing on the present situation in Iraq, challenges and opportunities in the Energy sector in the country were discussed.
